Cody is Managing Director for the Multicultural Scholars Program and started in July 2018.  His primary duties revolve around managing the disbursement of scholarships for current students, planning and facilitating programming, and assisting MSP Scholars to succeed in their academic and professional goals.  

Cody worked in the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences Dean's Office since 2016. Prior to this position, he worked for the KU Office of International Programs as the Global Awareness Program Coordinator from 2013-2016. Cody earned his MA in Ethnomusicology (Music and Cultural Anthropology) from the University of Washington in 2008. He received a Fulbright fellowship for musicology research in Tunisia in 2009-2010, and was the recipient of numerous FLAS awards for the study of the French language and pedagogy. He has conducted research on various forms of music and performance in Tunisia, Quebec, and Ghana.
