Supporting MSP Students within the KU Community
Multicultural Business Scholars

The Multicultural Business Scholars Program is a unique student support program that creates opportunities for scholars to excel academically, professionally and personally. With a series of intentional interactions for scholars to engage in throughout their time at KU, this program allows students to access tools that will ultimately lead them to academic success and an engaging career of their choice.

"Scholars benefits from one-on-one meetings with program directors to discuss academic progress, networking and mentoring opportunities with peers and program alumni, monthly program meetings with campus partners and professionals from various industries, and cultural programming events that enable the development and enhancement of supportive relationships. Students are able to develop a sense of belonging early in their academic career, and identify resources that can support them throughout their time at KU." ~ Steven Johnson Jr., Director of Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Student Programs in the School of Business

"For me, MBSP has been a program that has not only helped me excel academically in the university, but has also helped connect me with new opportunities and even other scholarships that have enabled me to take my experience here at KU to a new level that I may not have been able to achieve on my own." ~ Jasmine Moore, Junior MBSP scholar in the School of Business
